"I have been a customer of an insurance company for years, rates got higher & higher so I got a quote from my neighborhood State Farm today. Brook Weishaar is the agent and the nicest group of account reps ever! I was introduced to Makenzi Davis to help me understand why I was being charged so much per month with my insurance company. She not only quoted me with an unbelievable price but explained in detail all I needed to know! I think this is a first for me to walk into an insurance office and feel comfortable and understand the process! Everyone was kind and it was like just walking into a friends house! Welcoming and warm, no judgement only great advice and even great rates! I paid for 6 months car insurance what I’ve been paying MONTHLY for with my old insurance company! All I can say is if you’re looking for great rates and a friendly atmosphere check out State Farm! I’m so glad that I did!!!! Thanks Makenzi"

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this agent has been consistently disappointing and unprofessional.

Phone calls go unanswered. Messages are not returned. Important details slip through the cracks. In an industry where responsiveness and accuracy are critical, this level of neglect is unacceptable. Insurance is not something clients should have to chase their agent about.

The breaking point came today when I drove an hour and a half each way for a scheduled appointment—only for her not to show up. No notice. No call. No explanation. My time, apparently, has no value.

Property and casualty insurance requires diligence, communication, and accountability. Unfortunately, none of those qualities have been demonstrated here. I strongly encourage anyone considering working with this agent to think carefully about whether they are comfortable with this level of service.

Brook,
I will be direct.
My late husband questioned your reliability and follow-through. When I assumed responsibility for our insurance matters, I chose to give you the benefit of the doubt because I had not personally dealt with you. That was a mistake.
Yes, I spoke with and did business with “your team” understanding that to insuring an RV is not complex, but Property and Casualty insurance 101. Well, of course, there was a kink in that that as the premium I paid at the time of initiating this coverage has, of course, increased. At least That is the way I understand it from the info I received in the mail. That was one of the questions I had for our meeting.
Additionally, “your team” wigged out on me because they received a rider to be signed on one of my covered ATV’s that was required to be addressed immediately. This whole reaction was alarming. I was about to lose coverage on a $8000 toy that sits in the garage. So what?!?! How ‘bout write another policy due to the unforeseen lapse?!?! Furthermore, neither of your team members could explain this rider, nor did the one which was supposed to look into it and call me back with an explanation do what she said she would do, Call me back! Duh!! Well informed and very experienced response, don’t you think? No, a clear lack of confident leadership.
BTW, if you would like to debate the level of experience within “your team” by team member, not as a cumulative sum of all of them put together, all that is needed is for you to divulge how long each of them have been with “your team” not how long in the insurance business. I do not blame your staff. They appear to be operating without meaningful oversight. The issue is not them — it is you. Your name is on the building. Leadership, accountability, and client relationships are your responsibility.
Regarding the appointment in question, I was told you “wanted to reach out” because we had not met to review my coverage. I agreed to an appointment under the reasonable assumption that my licensed agent intended to meet with me personally. I rearranged my schedule and drove an hour and a half.
You were not there.
That was not a scheduling oversight or a misunderstanding on my part— it was a statement about your priorities.
The environment of your office felt transactional and volume-driven, not relationship-based. Insurance policies may be similar from one carrier to another; the difference is service, trust, and agent accountability. I did not experience those qualities in your office.
I will be moving my business elsewhere. I prefer to work with a professional who is present, engaged, and personally invested in the clients whose premiums fund their operation.
You may want to reflect on whether your current business model aligns with the responsibilities of a Property and Casualty agent — particularly when your name is attached to every interaction."
